writing is life 
writing is feelings
feelings that need release 
feelings that need telling 
telling feelings in stories 
telling in syllables 
syllables falling on paper 
syllables bleeding with grief 
grief so deep  
grief that leaves scars  
scars on the soul  
scars on my journey 
journey of ups and downs  
journey through life's mazes  
mazes full of unkindness  
mazes down unknown forest paths  
paths that lead no where  
paths that lead to beauty  
beauty that makes me linger 
beauty that is inspiring  
inspiring me to stay  
inspiring me to pen poems  
poems of meandering streams 
poems of twittering birds  
birds singing me a symphony  
birds delightful and beautiful  
beautiful wildflowers  
beautiful poetry  
poetry mingled with life and nature  
poetry from the depth of my heart 
heart broken  
heart that is still healing 
healing from grief 
healing from bullies 
bullies from my childhood 
bullies that still find me 
me, a gentle girl 
me, a quiet girl
girl who only wants tranquility 
girl who only wants serenity 
serenity to share  
serenity that is deep 
deep and hard to write 
deep stories written
written full of pain
written words 
words falling red
words bleeding
bleeding . . . 
red . . .
