Feeling Pain

The pain I feel
A bad storm,
Reeking havoc on my life
Taking control
I cover myself
Trying to find shelter
There’s no way out
Facing the storm
I fight through
With less pain
The storm calms
I finally see the sun

Love the uplifting ending most of all, as we all go through life's storms it is always good to be reminded the sun does eventually reappear. Awesome poetry. Love, Shar

I too face my cloudy skies, and am reassured when I see the sun pierce through, that it's only a temporary storm. So much more beauty after it passes, that when it's there, I have so much to think about while awaiting its' passing...Raul

Sounds like you could utter the miracle word from the War Within and you'd see the sun with less of a struggle.

Life is like that sometimes isn't it....But its the battles, that make us better, wiser and stronger! That fill us with empathies and sympathies! That keep us grounded and humble, and realizing our dependencies upon someone greater than ourselves!!? Again, wonderful searching write of reflections!!~"Love & Warmth To You & Yours, Always, John!!":):) Bye Again ~
