Feel the Heat:It's a Sizzler!!
Barbecue fellow meat
Sweltering in summertime heat
too much for the eyes
Unbearable to the feet
No need for the grill today
Fry the weenie without the roll anyway
Open up the mouth and say:
ANYBODY CARE FOR A CAN OF "OCEAN SPRAY"?
I like the SIZZLING pleasure
FRENCH FRIED in the pot with equal measure
The sun is boiling, still un abating
HAMBURGER with relish
My appetite is awaiting
Rover is a bone
Tabby shedding hair
Charlie catching rabies
But the sunlight doesn't care
Heat of the day
Babe in her thong
I'm in the mood for
IN THE SUMMERTIME song
Late in the 'noon
The light has descended
I drive home from the beach
but,
SOME CAR I REAR ENDED
This poem is yours
it really isn't mine
to be thrown in the trash
If you would be so kind
Tonight I'm in diaper
TOO HOT to wear short
I am ready to retire
looking forward to negative retort
