Feel Me In My Silence

          an echo within a void
  carries on the air
              infinite

  feel me in my silence
       always present
  as are you
without a wall to ease rebound
       grasping within aching eons
    aware of nevers

       in the umbra
no words leave lips
       nor emotions describe

     all that can be
           lingers
               seeking glimmers
          ready for a reality
  where lines cross
      and our energy meets
             we talk the same language
      in the same space
               in the same time

here, you can only feel me

          that is the longing

put into words
as best I can

Your words have soul in it, such sincerity that gets readers to feel so very deeply and be in touch the emotional layers flowing in such a poetic manner! I love this as I felt a hint of melancholy, and also longing, somehow it resonates with me too! I like poems like this! Doesn’t necessarily have to be long, it just have to leave us feeling, ( in my case) lol i am strong on feeling words! I especially loved “ we talk the same language in the same space in the same time”

I try to create a space in the poem where time moves differently - it's hard to know if that tracks because I only know how they read to me. You probably read more poetry than anyone I know, so I appreciate your judgement and kind commentary. I always laugh when you say "readers" though haha - I rarely hit the plural lol
