Feeding Those Who Starve For the Lord's Affection
Shared compassion for all to embrace,
fear never shown nor given from above-
though some shy away from kindness,
many bestow goodwill and generosity.
For the Lord and His light shines
when we bestow altruism.
Bearing alms is benevolent-
wearing consideration for other’s
emotions creates a ripple effect of
paying it forward;
do you pay it forward?
(I pray you pass along all the
charity that has been given to you)
May benignity become our daily routine;
for when we show grace and mercy,
it is only then that we receive ten times over
(rations of offerings become bountiful)
May we all show greatness in philanthropy;
feed those with selflessness who starve
for the Lord’s affection.
