Feeding Frenzy

As usual that Sunday,
we ate at our
favorite Chinese Buffet,
circling round it
like a bunch of sharks,
piling up our plates,
after all we paid $10 bucks a head,
and the food is first rate,
we wanted to get our moneys worth,
and to be well spent!
After eating 10 or more
platefuls a piece,
and barely able to stand on our feet,
we felt full and content,
waddling out to our car,
but for some reason
we couldn't fit!

Gotta love those "all-you-can-eat" places. I've been to WAY too many of those over the years. Good job on this poem. Janice

Thanks Janice! My family and I do eat out at those buffets on occasion but am exaggerating on the 10 platefuls a piece part, otherwise we'd all be morbidly obese!:)
