Abe Lopez Poet Choka

February Rain

rain caressing limbs
transforms into crushing ice
duplicitous destruction

enveloping trees
splintering Appendages
suffering spiral fractures

winter rhetoric 
cracked branches screaming in pain
imminent amputation
