Fearless

I fell in love when I saw you,
the right words just couldn't be found;
I waited too long so I lost you,
my fears kept holding me down.
Someone was near or the timing not right,
how I wish I could go back in time;
to the night that we met, I would tell you,
I love you and now you'd be mine.
Foresight's the wisdom of sages,
hindsight is my lot it seems;
I waited too long so I lost you,
now I only have you in my dreams.
