Fear Paralyzes

Fear is paralyzing.
It can be a thief, robbing a person of joy.
Comprising
Trembling, sweating
It can cause fast heart rate, poor boy. 
Getting 
Chest pain
Fear is the ploy.
Chained! 
Fear is paralyzing.

You describe fear and its effects perfectly.. I do not fear much, if i do i try to tackle it head on... then fear goes away.. nice reminder.

To make us stay away from guns in the closet. They would tell me the boogie man was in there. I believed it. I guess you could call that paralysed.

Yes, I remember when the term Boogie Man was used plus my mother would say Jesus won't love you if you such and such. That is definitely something a child should not be told. Thanks for stopping by and giving a nice personal review of my work. Sara
