Fear

FEAR”

Intimidating obstructing insecurities
Planting seeds of inadequacy
Fear in the mind
Hindering and paralyzing our goals
Questioning ourselves do we qualify am I good enough to take on any upper level roads

Trauma taunting fear that steers the mental
Hiding and isolating your gifts restraining your voice
Against the world its makes the perception of you feel little
Will my accomplishments be recognized or merit based
Will they relate can I reach that upper level place
Or will I continue to live invisible, Hidden, Mis-placed

Will I be respected or will my race be in vain
After enduring all the storms of life pain
Can I let my vision and spirit reign
Liberating this loaded locked up strain

Even when Im rejected I still manage to maintain
Articulating my emotions against the rain to the grain

Decompressing scribing my feeling and thoughts on this paper
In order to release my consolidated lyrical vapors
Like a baby chick bursting out of its shell
I escape breaking loose from the fear
Flying free over my obstacles crying elation tears
The spotlight is now on my journey even though it had took me several years
To expose and discover my true identity and triumph over my fears
As of today I am here standing with no fears
