My lover's face
Is fading
She left me
Many years ago
My lover's voice
Is fading
It is getting harder to hear
Its been many years
Since she told me
I love you
I no longer
Feel her touch
It's been many years
Since I held her in my arms
God decided it was time
For her to go
I will join her soon
I know
I will hold her
I will kiss her lovely face
And she will tell me
I love you
