Gosh, forgot all about Mahalia Jackson. (Ella Fitzgerald was my favorite back in the day. Ever see her do a duet with Sammy Davis Jr. on the Ed Sullivan show? It's about three minutes, and really worth a quick view. They do jazz be-bop singing, a lost art these days). :) gw
