Fatherless Boys
This is for the boy
That thinks he’s grown.
This is for him that
Learns to fight on his own.
This is for the boy
That feels the pressures of the worl’.
And for him that has
No respect for girl.
This is for the boy
That has many confessions.
This is for him that
Is pushed in too many directions.
This is for the boy
That feels misunderstood
Because he thought he wasn’t enough
Of a man to have a father that was good.
This is for children of every race.
The only thing they want
From their father
Is to see his face.
