Fatherhood and Faith

The ultimate test of faith. Imagine, Jesus standing in front of the world and saying, "God is my father." Now, imagine God standing in front of the world, saying, "Man is my son." If that doesn't rattle your religion, you think too much of God... What's harder to believe; Man looking upward or God looking downward? Which one of us is ready to admit such a blunderous mistake? As my son goes out into the world with nothing but my teachings, I question how I raised him. I question faith. Upward or downward, where do I place the blame if things go sideways? Where do I draw the line of righteousness? Will he blame me as I blamed my father before him? Will the God in me move stone away & raise him up again? Is faith thinking he will never fall at all? That he was put here to be more than what I could have ever conceived him to be? He takes my faith, balls it up & tosses it in the trash He says, "Dad, I got this." Truly, he's had more faith in me than I ever had...
