Father Wasn'T There

Life isn't fair why wasn't he there? We needed him by our side but he chose to run and
hide thinkin that we didn't need him in our life. Just because he couldn't get his mind
right he decided to change our life, and get a new wife and life. That wasn't right. As I
would cried myself to sleep or get cold chills of fear at night. I realized that I my
father was no where insight to hold me tight.

Courtney, though he was not there for you in your time of need you are doing great. You like me are a survivor. I know it was hard being without him. Welcome to PoetrySoup and feel free you write your heart here. Love, Carol
