Father of Mine

He is my protector I stand through his lectures Always watching Always helping Sometimes He's misunderstood I would understand him if I could Sometimes he comes off mean Its very keen But what he's really doing Is trying to be loving He sometimes doesn't know how to show it I didn't come with an instruction kit Mom gets mad and he gets me in trouble Then he likes to giggle And try to cuddle He confuses me But that is not my plea So I better get in line For that father of mine
