Father, Father

Father, Father must we die-
all your children ask you why?

And Mother, Mother can you see,
the horror all life comes to be?

Lord, Oh Lord when you were here,
You taught the world 'in god to fear'-

But Master, Master now I see,
I am the power of what will be.

"The master of your fate"...yes, true in many ways and this poem is so perfectly to the point in each great couplet.
