Father and Friend

My God, my Lord, my Saviour, King, my living bread, abundant spring. On you alone I shall depend, gracious Father and loving friend. I strive for love amongst burnt soil, retrieve me now from lost one's spoil. May your love and mercy transcend, gracious Father and loving friend. When I am in my darkest night, may my soul never loose your sight. Hold me close Lord, my God defend, gracious Father and loving friend. And when its time to leave your herd, may I have lived unto your word. With faith, through grace, I shall ascend, gracious Father and loving friend. 05.04.2021

A fine example of a kyrielle poem.
