Fate To Forgiveness

I am sorry for all the lies I've told.
Dishonesty destroys yours and I's souls,
it truly is a weapon to behold,
it rips you apart so you're not whole.

The pain behind your tired eyes still shows,
I can see it in your smile, I know,
you've seen how low the lowest lows can go.
You pull me out of the water below,

you dry me off and sweep me off my feet,
that moment I knew you were mine to keep.
No wall too tall to climb, no wall too steep,
I had to forgive myself to be free.

You showed me the best way to let go.
I am sorry for all the lies I've told.
