Fate Knows You Well

Never say never for fate knows you well Karma has plans for you, you cannot imagine The future awaits beyond the next tomorrow Find joy in your life merely waiting to see, But, keep in mind, it may be heaven or hell. For success and tragedy often walk together And sometimes tragedy portends success Conversely, success sometimes invites tragedy You may ask why and never come to terms, Just strive to be who you were meant to be Going about each day with the desire to grow, Never being satisfied with less than your best Come to your end knowing you gave it your all.

A verse of wisdom Milton, lifes path isn't always an easy one to tread but we have to take the good with the bad and give it our best shot. Tom

So true, Tom. And who can fault us if we gave "it our best shot?"

Milt, a wonderful Free Verse poem, inspiring, I like your line "Just strive to be who you were meant to be" this what I basically what I tell myself each morn" . . . to just be me. I truly belief in Karma and have been witness to it many times, it will come back to those bullies and just in general nasty people in a big way one day, Constance

Oh, I wholeheartedly believe this, Constance, and I, too, have seen Karma in action.

Thank you so much, Michael. I wasn't sure that this wouldn't be controversial. I hope everyone understands what I meant to say!
