Faster Than a Flicker
I sort of hoped we would go out in flames, some dramatic spiral into rageful oblivion—a goodbye with ferocity and flair.
But instead, you fled… it was worse than a ghost how quietly you left.
No haunting, no wanting, just a blur—out of sight faster than a flicker.
I tried to follow the trail of your absence, but it led nowhere—just an empty sky where even the stars refused to burn.
