Far-Sight

should have
had the
far-sight to
pay attention to
initial premonition
instead of pushing it
away and moving forwards
with the pursuit to obtain
a place in your heart
flying blind right into disaster
flying by the set of my pants endeavors
to keep you from leaving me but
it blow up in my face in the end
