Farewell

So close I feel you near to me
    Touched by that scented presence
    Drifting seductively into my soul
    I'm achingly excited
    Emotions lost in ecstasy
    My heart is pumping madly
    Senses losing self control
    Causing palpitations
    Sensual meltdown body shaking
    Legs have turned to jelly
I try to take your hand
But your fingers slip through mine
As you start to walk away from me
    I'm calling out your name
    And running after you
But your perfumed scent has disappeared
    Leaving me alone
Now solitude wraps it's arms around me
The warmth of you has gone
    This solitary man
    Besides myself
    Without a voice
    I'm crying in the dark
