Far From the Home I Love
This cement house is so cold,
The cold burns like deep winter,
I miss the home of warm embraces
Of delicious strawberry kisses,
The home of fragrant pillows
A home of tender touches.
Now someone else lies on my pillows
They have stolen the kisses I long for,
Their fingers have stained my home.
