Far From Happy

The news we wanted
arrived today
im walking on air
but your words delayed

Im flying high
so why so down
your looking good
but a serious frown.

Your far from happy
and looking sad
im floating on air
why arnt you glad.

l longed the truth
like a distance touch
your a troubled calm
with a look too smooth.

Why arnt you pleased
its a blur no more
we made a life
the test is sure.

Your far from happy
and looking sad
im floating on air
why are you sad.

I shall look out for a second piece on this. Initial reactions are not always a sign of things to come. Financial stress can play a part. All do is be strong regardless. If poem is specific to your situation I hope there is people that can support you. I became a grandfather for first time in Feb. You wrote a great piece by-the -way., both in content and poetically. All the best David in NZ. ps I could not believe all the free stuff my daughter has tapped into. Hope you get the same break.

You give a good glimpse of the the why we sometimes ask. It takes a special person to bask not just in their own happiness but that of those around them as well. Asking the question can be good for both parties. Glad you are till posting on the soup best regards David in NZ
