Fantasy

The silk in her stockings mesmerized the men
Her glossy full lips painted fire engine red

Legs so slender hinted of black spun lace
As she floated to the stool and took her place

A golden mane cascaded a bare shoulder
Her scent of perfume an exotic blend of oils

As she flirtingly tapped a high polished nail
Her well defined arm lingered over the rail

A mischievious glance over this dimly lit bar
Portrayed big baby blue sparkling like stars

She paused, lashes long as she gazed in the corner
Her shiny high heels revealed a thin silver border

Diamonds danced upon her sleek graceful neck
As she turned and ordered a neat triple sec

She was a seductive woman of style and perfect height
Her voice though whispered, beckoned into the night

The dimly lit bar now echoed her heels
Her fragranced body neatly tucked behind the wheel

The silk in her stockings mesmerized the men
Her glossy full lips painted fire engine red.

Somehow this poem reminds me of the pole-dancing mother in another of your poems, Lynn. Your descriptive lines (couplets) would mesmerize not only men, but women as well! #7 Regards // paul

A wonderful tease of a poem. I'm sorry, I never realized how much of an **s I can be in my comments.
