Sam, this is so beautiful. I love to wear hats. I always match them with my shoes and purses. I remember my boss calling me "Princess Di" in the 90's. Congratulations, my friend. Have a Blessed day.

Hi Marilene! Thank you for your congratulations. I too love hats! And I would always match them to whatever I was wearing. They are such fun and add so much. So sad they have gone out of style. This was a very fun poem to create. Had a chance to look at lots of pictures of "fancies!" Sending you traveling mercies!

I watch the Kentucky Derby every year (on TV) and this makes me think of all those grandiose hats they wear (love the sidesaddle line, great tie in!)
