Family Get Together Changed

When the family gather at our home
They stay awhile -they're from out of town
We sit down to a home cooked meal
Then wash up our plates from the meal

After all done computers come out
Everyone on them at the same time
Except for me,I don't touch mine
Hoping to set an example for the

I look around and see no reaction
Feeling so sad nothing had changed
Wondering how it turned out this way
There is no conversation like before now

Darlene De Beaulieu July 23, 2017 at 1:58 PM Some people do and land up in an accident then be surprised they got that way. Now it is against the law to use your phone when driving. Daniel Turner February 24, 2017 at 11:17 AM It is disgusting, Darlene. I'm to the point, I ask visitors to at least put their phones on silent and if they must answer please step out on the porch. I feel it is very rude to visit someone and talk on the phone to someone else at the same time. Darlene De Beaulieu February 25, 2017 at 1:26 PM I feel the same way you do Daniel. When people come over for a visit they should visit, not be on phones or computers.conversation should take place instead.
