Family

Mum's gone now
and Dad's all alone,
rattling about in the family home.
Can't get in touch with the silly old bugger,
my sis is worried,
I'd love to hug her
but she's in Cornwall
and I'm in Wiltshire.
A fair few miles
just to see her.
My Bro is also not so near
but in my heart,
I hold so dear.
I hope that Dad's
not had a fall!
I'd better check
I'll make that call.

I went to a funeral yesterday for a man who had lost his wife and then had a fall and died in a few days. Better make that call.. Congratulations. Love, Joyce
