False Hope

where did i go wrong, loving you with a heart so strong. i must have been stupid willing you to treat me like i wanted. there's not a day went by killing you was a wish i wanted to try what did i think i'd learn: keeping you - some sort of points i'd earn? stilling the aching inner fear sleeping with you was the only thing i wished for scars gone, now no longer afraid - leaving without you was the last best thing i ever did.
