Falling While the Once Hurt Rises
You may shout your thoughts to me
You may get angry with me
You may hurt me
You may break me
You may watch me as i break and fall while your self esteem rises
As i bleed
As i fall
As i fight
While i struggle
I do it so i don't hurt you, like you hurt me
You may hurt me
You may break me and watch me fall
I might even be broken,
I’m not going to have you fall when you have already fallen
This might be your way to get up
I won't take you down with me like a ship sinking and the people rushing to get to safety
You can float the boat while i drown
I will let you take it out on me
I will deal with the duress actions
At least i won't break you…..like you did to me!
