My tears keep falling as days pass by I’m left heartbroken, just sit and cry I miss you darling, so does our son You never told me what I had done Since the day you walked away The azure skies have all turned grey I can't sleep at night as you’re not there Hard to accept that you don’t care Days turn to night; I sit alone My aching heart has turned to stone I do not know where I went wrong Now I just sing this sad sad song Inspired by listening to Autumn Leaves sung by Natalie Cole Contest Sponsored by Teppo Gren 04~23~16

It works really well with the music ... my favourite one is the homeward bound poem - it took me days to write that - I find it very emotional to listen to ... I can hear the music in my head as I write:-) hugs Jan xx

Oh Charma my heart goes out your friend and her children - it must be so difficult for them to understand why daddy doesn't want to be with them anymore:-( The lyrics to autumn leaves are so sad and the melody is haunting and my muse went into a melancholy overdrive :-( hugs jan xx

I think the song really inspired sadness in you. These songs I will need to listen to again. Their titles are familiar to me but can't quite recall their words or melodies. I know his last contest super inspired me, I hope this one does the same.
