Falling Into the Hand of the Sovereign
As I fall
before God
trusting His sovereign
divine omnipotence…
my faith is fixed
toward verities
of eternal promises!
When I fall
into the hand of the Lord*
braced by His presence
during fervent prayer moments…
my heart delights
around altar's sweet communion
midst worshipful gratitude!
Choosing to fall
for Christ Who checks
every motive
and innermost desires…
my guilt of confessed sins
He does forgive
granting peace sublime!
Now that I have fallen
in love with my Saviour
the compassionate Redeemer
and steadfast Fortress of my soul…
my relationships with others
anchored by His truth
ceaselessly grow stronger!
Humbly falling
under the Almighty
triumphantly fighting for me
against trials, temptations, tribulations…
my care-driven service perseveres with joy
thanking Him, exalting His name by His grace
through His power, and for His glory.
