Falling Into Autumn
I'm falling with the leaves
Autumn brings me to my knees
Screaming to the crisp air please
Give me just a moment of ease
To enjoy this peace, please
A soothing grey sky
A cooing bird that flies high
There is no way I could surely die
In this moment of beauty
Help me see
What else in this blackened broken world is pretty
So that this happiness won't flee me
