Fallin'

rustlin' sounds abound
children hidin' but soon are found

great laughter and cheer everywhere
a quiet breeze caressing the atmosphere

sparrows, warblers, and wrens singin' less
dog days' zeal has waned; harvest soon, I attest

beautiful yellows, reds, and browns a fallin'
soon 'Ole Man Jack' will be a-callin'
