Fallen Leaves

The sun sets behind the golden trees - I drag my feet along. Something just keeps falling and falling what and why, I don't know. Boot heels scraping, against a grey paved road, and the breeze hums by. But there's a difference, like in a dream - wish I could tell you why. Cuz now, You and I, We're like fallen leaves - just rustling in the autumn air, just running in the wind. Feel so tired, wanna catch my breath. Is it the end this time for you and I?
