Fallen Angel

Fallen angel forlorn
Broken hearted, spirit worn
Seeking only to hide
Unloved, until feelings subside
Fallen in the empty field
Vulnerable, without a shield
Overcome by flights of confusion
Only feeling heartbreak's contusion
A hole that cannot be filled
Resides within all the tears spilled
Let it not be true, depth of despair
Stealing the last breath of air
