Fall Out

In the grip of darkness, shadows fall,
Echoes of laughter, haunt my soul.
False love fills our space, where hope was bright,
In the grip of darkness, shadows fall,
Echoes of laughter, haunt my soul.
False love fills our space, where hope was bright,
Blood runs down the virgin’s cheeks, lost in the night.

I want to run away, yeah I want to get out,
The dreams of my youth, now are choked by doubt.
Teachings of justice? Nowhere to be found,
Fists of righteousness, lay broken on the ground.

So I say…
Farewell, World,
Farewell to the days I held dear.
Let us go forth to seek the light,
Farewell, World,

The heavens rage, our punishment unfolds,
A prophecy of darkness, a story retold.
I want to cry out, but I’m at my limit,
The days of my youth, where do I fit in?

Smiles of children are nowhere to be found,
Young women hidden, lost without a sound.
Ambitions of young men, swept away by strife,
Vows of marriage broken, what’s left of life?

So I say…
Farewell, World,
Farewell to the days I held dear.
Let us go forth to seek the light,
Farewell, World,

A reign of blood, a World of corruption,
People remain silent, what are they waiting for?
I want to run, I want to fly away,
Nostalgia’s a dream that won't return today.

In this sorrow, can we birth a new era?
A limitless love, let’s rise from this terror.
A forever unending paradise awaits,
A World beyond these prison gates.

So I say…
Farewell, World,
Farewell to the days I held dear.
Let us go forth to seek the light,
Farewell to the days we held dear.
Leave this new dark age, let the light near.
