Fall

Fall

Trees wounded by color's brilliant army--
sadly I view nature bleed
ichor, orange and red.

Beneath my feet, earth shivers and cries out,
do not succumb, loved Summer;
she sighs one last sweet breath.

Hi Faye,,,this is so lovely and yet so sad! Pity for that extra 'and' in 1st Kimo; would even have sounded better without it!:) Congratulations! // paul

Oh, Faye, this is yours? this would have been in top three except that you had one too many syllables in line three. It is a really easy fix. Just remove the "an" I don't think the word ichor even requires an article. The second one you wrote was absolutely stunning and it could have stood alone as a top winner. congratulations.

I fixed it...can't believe I didn't catch that. Thanks, Andrea, for the placement.
