fall

fall counts past time warm sun dies
seed sown last year new life cries
breath comes breath leaves old clocks stop
glow bugs now light - how time flies

Terry, there is such a sense of death and revival in your lines, the work of the seasons and your glow bugs! Congrats, cheers and blessings!

Well done on placement in contest, Terry. I like how you’ve integrated & commented on time in the poem. I can almost feel the counting, then the light. So much that the two inter-leading seasons teach us. Hav a beautiful day. X.
