Fall

For as long as I can remember I've never looked ahead, I've always walked with my head down so I could place every step, I've often been too cautious to keep up in the race, and though I fell behind I've never fallen out of place, I've never held on to anything when I sensed any doubt and I've never let go of anything I couldn't live without, I've never shown a smile I thought could be turned to a frown and I've never stood up when I could've been knocked down, I've never given up my heart without the exchange of another and I'll never love care-free without the same from the other, Because I've always been too afraid to fall for all I had to lose I've always been too afraid to fall, except in love with you

This is so intimately shared and I hope with the acknowledgement of some of these things you'll begin to stand taller. Very tenderly expressed once again, true poetic heart

You're right. Great catch. I can't believe I didn't notice that before posting it. Thank you so much, SV. I must head read it in my head even without seeing actually seeing the word. I've edited it now though.
