Faith's Shield
How can a person be their very best
If test are never laid along the way
Yes let each one seek answers to their quest;
Now please don't rest too long or go astray.
Watch out for those in life who would betray,
With snares that are so very well concealed!
They'll try to make you soon become their prey-
That's when you'll learn techniques to use faith's shield!
Now there's a thing in life I do detest;
It is a lie that keeps the truth at bay.
They'll ever be to me unwelcome guest's
Because they soon can turn bright skies to grey.
The things we do to each in time portrays,
A picture which will show just what we wield.
In troubled times there's fears each must allay;
That's when you'll learn techniques to use faith's shield!
Be sure the things that you may do in jest
Will not be getting others in a fray.
Now should you need some things off of your chest,
Please have it done before the end of day.
As it shall build if it becomes repressed,
For in the end it still becomes revealed.
When problems try to make your life decay-
That's when you'll learn techniques to use faith's shield.
The evil prince will come to cause unrest.
But as you use the shield of faith he'll yield.
Sometimes you'll feel the night will always stay;
That's when you learn techniques to use faith's shield!
