~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Gentle, like the tenderest dewdrop,
Kind as the rain who bleeds hope,
Quiet, like the whisper of light,
Tender as the heart who sings praise.
Joyful, like the guitar’s rhythmic chorus,
Elated by the wonder of a priceless psalm,
Jubilant, like the roar of an ocean once calm,
Happy to know the mystery of the heart’s warmth.
Creative, like the leaves in autumn,
Caressing the moments with a sincerity,
Felt by those who see God in every silence,
Soothing away the melancholy, the darkness.
Peaceful, like September’s wings,
Alive with the beautiful in grace,
Pouring out poetry over the skies,
In stars who leak faith into night.
Winsome, like heaven’s open gates,
Flung wide to those who have faith,
Embracing souls who believe He is,
More than light, but love that fulfills.
Genuine, like summer as she whispers,
Over the mountains, the seas, the hearts,
Who remember her with affection, memories
Bold as the spirit who feels her song so amazing.
Stirring, like the moment I first believed,
He is the One who brings my heart truth,
He is the One who quiets every fear, each tear,
With love this real, He promises to always be here.
Abiding, inside where I can feel this love,
Love so amazing that I can not think of…
One reason or intention more beautiful,
Than the praise that comes to souls…
Who know that He is who He says He is…
Love, hope and peace – joy that completes,
The answer to every prayer, the One who is always there,
Maker of dreams and Savior of those who believe!
