Faith Is Our Course

I've been to the mountain
And ran away crying
I've seen the rock but it makes to sense to me
I've always avoided the challenge
I tend to hide
Lock it all away
Down deep where it can't be seen
It's all in your head
There is no weakness only strength
Is the lie that is always told
The encouragement far far away
Wasn't there lost beyond the great unknown
A black hole that inhales everything good around
Ruled by demons
Subsided not very often
A constant battle
A distraction if you will
A refusal to see capabilities
It's a struggle I am not alone in
There has always been a lack of self worth
Self confidence A lack luster proclamation
I can rise above
I can take it on
I can hold the weight of my demise
But is that at all accurate
No it's the same for all of us
What takes us to the next level
What strives us to continue
I think it's the thing we all fear
The unknown.and the reactions that may come
It seems to force us to give up on ourselves
Our aspirations our dreams
It's being content comfortable
It's the illusion that nothing will change
But to evolve we need to change
We need to grow
We need to be uncomfortable
It builds our character it takes us to a higher ground
It lets us see who and what we are really made of
Without these bumps we can't become what we are suppose to be
There is always a plan a goal he has for us
He is always there to lend a helping hand
But we have to believe in a greater power
We have to have faith in what we are set out to do
Because if we have no faith then we have no self belief
We are all capable of more but we all tend to stay clear of that fear that unknown that change.
We tend to cave back away when it seems harder then it is. To fail and to succeed puts the human back in humanity and what will be will always be as long as faith is our course.
