FAITH IN GOD WHOSE NAME IS BLESSED
God is great, and His name is blessed with His presence
Through His righteousness of holiness-license
Surely setting us to dwell in His peace of divine incense
And upholding our faith by His gracious sense.
God is great, and His name is blessed with His Word
Through His truth magnifying Him as Almighty Lord
Surely loading us daily along benefits of compassion-cord
And protecting our faith along His eternal salvation-record.
God is great, and His name is blessed with His victory
Through His sovereignty showing His glory
Surely exhorting us to declare His Gospel story
And strengthening our faith as we worship Him in His sanctuary.
God is great, and His name is blessed with His light
Through His Scriptures that proclaim His way so right
Surely illumining us against sinfulness’ blight
And directing our faith toward service-height.
God is great, and His name is blessed with His mercy
Through His redemption for our everlasting welfare’s permanency
Surely enclosing us around His love’s fervency
And nurturing our faith by His instruction’s constancy.
God is great, and His name is blessed with His gladness
Through His peace in our prayer-earnestness
Surely building us up in our ministry-involvement zealousness
And cheering our faith always against gloominess.
God is great, and His name is blessed with His leadership
Through His authority that highlights His offered relationship
Surely securing us within His friendship amidst His fellowship
And increasing our faith by His partnership in our discipleship.
