July 25 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Ecclesiastes 5-8
Key Verse – Ecclesiastes 5:19 Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.
FAITH IN GOD WHOSE GIFTS TO US ARE GREAT
God grants us His great gifts of eternal richness
For us to profit in His satisfying bountifulness
By our faith’s diligence toward works of righteousness
As we trust Him and His Word’s steadfastness.
God grants us His great gifts of wealth divine
For us to share His blessings since they are not only ours or mine
By our faith’s increase with His Scriptural design
As we thank Him and His goodness, especially when we dine.
God grants us His great gifts of power so gracious
For us to declare the Gospel of everlasting life that’s precious
By our faith’s response toward being soul-conscious
As we testify about Him and His mercy making us vivacious.
God grants us His great gifts of loving compassion
For us to abide in His will around His fellowship-session
By our faith’s decision to conquer doubt’s oppression
As we obey Him and His heavenly vision.
God grants us His great gifts of joy, verily vibrant
For us to exude His gladness, always radiant
By our faith’s performance in being triumphant
As we live for Him and His name, constantly jubilant.
God grants us His great gifts of holiness’ light
For us to walk along virtuous paths of truth and right
By our faith’s determination to stand against sinful blight
As we serve Him and His ministry with delight.
God grants us His great gifts of labour’s reward
For us to practice doing well as His steward
By our faith’s industriousness against being indolently backward
As we praise Him and His goodness in going forward.
