FAITH IN GOD WHO WANTS US TO HEARKEN TO HIS COMMANDMENTS

March 19 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Judges 3-5 

Key Verse – Judges 3:4 …To know whether they would hearken unto the commandments of the LORD, which he commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses.

FAITH IN GOD WHO WANTS US 
TO HEARKEN TO HIS COMMANDMENTS	

God wants us to hearken to His commandments by His grace
Toward our sanctification against evil rays
As we through faith walk upon holiness’ brace 
That builds our testimony through the days. 

God wants us to hearken to His commandments for His glory
Toward our honourable victory
As we through faith declare the Gospel story 
That moves our engagement in His heavenly territory. 

God wants us to hearken to His commandments with His enablement
Toward our diligence in our stewardship-accomplishment
As we through faith hearken to His voice of encouragement 
That settles our service against discontentment. 

God wants us to hearken to His commandments along His reign
Toward our submission to follow Him in every journey’s terrain
As we through faith fight battles of flesh-strain 
That upholds our conviction against miseries that spiritually drain. 

God wants us to hearken to His commandments by His might
Toward our success with His goodness delight
As we through faith trust Him day and night 
That keeps our peace settled in doing what is right. 

God wants us to hearken to His commandments along His instruction
Toward our wisdom, guided by His direction
As we through faith strive for daily consecration 
That purifies our motives against selfish intention. 

God wants us to hearken to His commandments with His divine desire
Toward our favourable commendation against pride’s mire
As we through faith pray by His mercies which inspire 
That shows us to please Him with the commitment He does require.
