FAITH IN GOD WHO WANTS US TO BE SANCTIFIED
God wants us to be sanctified as we live for His glory…
Here we are submitting to Him with faith’s victory
In sharing diligently His Gospel story
For people’s deliverance from hell’s fury.
God wants us to be sanctified as we behold His marvellousness…
Here we are rejoicing triumphantly in Him with faith’s gladness
In abiding in His righteousness
For our security from troubles’ oppressiveness.
God wants us to be sanctified as we seek His mercy…
Here we are praying to Him with faith’s fervency
In trusting His promises’ constancy
For our thanksgiving midst His satisfaction-sufficiency.
God wants us to be sanctified as we hide in Him from persecution…
Here we are standing firmly with faith’s protection
In fighting trial, test and temptation
For our triumph toward His exaltation.
God wants us to be sanctified as we follow His authority…
Here we are obeying Him with faith’s certainty
In complying to His command by His capacity
For our diligence against infirmity.
God wants us to be sanctified as we radiate His light…
Here we are striving toward holiness with faith’s plight
In clinging to His strength and might
For our service that gives Him delight.
God wants us to be sanctified as we praise His name…
Here we are worshipping Him with faith’s flame
In glorifying Him midst truth-claim
For our testimony that magnifies His fame.
