FAITH IN GOD WHO TURNS UNTO US AS WE TURN UNTO HIM
God turns unto us as we turn unto His righteousness
Against our corruption-filthiness
For our growth by faith in His holiness
Upon good works’ brightness.
God turns unto us as we turn unto His mercy
Against our stubbornness of hateful arrogancy
For our reliance by faith on His clemency
Upon dependence to His miracles’ excellency.
God turns unto us as we turn unto His leadership
Against our selfishness of grievous hardship
For our obedience by faith shown through our worship
Upon Biblical discipleship thriving along fruitful stewardship.
God turns unto us as we turn unto His authority
Against our feeling of vain superiority
For our trust by faith in His wisdom’s integrity
Upon assured salvation-security.
God turns unto us as we turn unto His warning
Against our carnality that causes habitual sinning
For our decision by faith to choose to be virtuously winning
Upon Biblical truth for our spiritual learning.
God turns unto us as we turn unto His side
Against our position of towering pride
For our walk by faith with Him as our guide
Upon strong conviction when tempted and tried.
God turns unto us as we turn unto His ministry
Against our failures and frustration-misery
For our participation by faith in His divine infantry
Upon eternal victory of His heavenly territory.
