FAITH IN GOD WHO TELLS US TO HAVE FAITH IN HIM
God tells us to have faith in Him during our moments of emptiness
So that we can overcome vanity through His graciousness
Midst erring hypocrisy and deceitfulness
Toward His presence of blessed bountifulness.
God tells us to have faith in Him against our insecurity
So that we can trust Him Who specializes in impossibility
Midst attacks of worry and infirmity
Toward His assurance of sovereign authority.
God tells us to have faith in Him while having our discipleship
So that we can abide in His sweet fellowship
Midst problems and challenges along our stewardship
Toward His help of ministry-partnership.
God tells us to have faith in Him when dealing with temptation
So that we can handle difficulties by His instruction
Midst disastrous and deceptive situation
Toward His strength that guarantees our victorious condition.
God tells us to have faith in Him against our bad perspective
So that we can learn from His Scriptures of heavenly directive
Midst false doctrines and teachings so worldly seductive
Toward His wisdom always divinely instructive.
God tells us to have faith in Him as we face our guilt-caused pain
So that we can triumph in His assurance for fruitful service-gain
Midst darts of slothfulness and indolence with sorrow’s strain
Toward His peaceful joy along His offered pardon for sin-stain.
God tells us to have faith in Him in times of discontentment
So that we can receive His answers for our prayers’ fulfillment
Midst lack of devotion and commitment
Toward His promise we can cling to along His supplies’ enrichment.
